Among them are Blockchain.com, Gemini and Bitpanda. The source added that another &#8216;around six people&#8217; could join.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>In 2019, LedgerX received a license as an authorised derivatives exchange from <span data-descr=\\\"U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission\\\" class=\\\"old_tooltip\\\">CFTC<\/span>. At the same time, the platform announced the launch of deliverable Bitcoin futures. Later, the regulator stated that it had not granted permission for this.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>In the summer of 2021, FTX&#8217;s US subsidiary <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/ftx-us-to-offer-clients-access-to-crypto-derivatives-trading\">announced plans<\/a> to give clients access to trading cryptocurrency derivatives. Later, the structure <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/ftx-us-acquires-ledgerx-a-cryptocurrency-derivatives-exchange\">acquired LedgerX<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>In November 2022, FTX Trading, Alameda Research and more than 130 affiliated companies <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/ftx-group-files-for-bankruptcy-sam-bankman-fried-resigns-as-ceo\">filed for bankruptcy<\/a>.
