{"id":70844,"date":"2022-12-01T14:00:11","date_gmt":"2022-12-01T12:00:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=70844"},"modified":"2025-09-08T04:33:57","modified_gmt":"2025-09-08T01:33:57","slug":"sberbanks-blockchain-platform-to-gain-ethereum-network-support","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/sberbanks-blockchain-platform-to-gain-ethereum-network-support\/","title":{"rendered":"Sberbank&#8217;s blockchain platform to gain Ethereum network support"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sberbank <a href=\\\"https:\/\/press.sber.ru\/publications\/sber-predstavil-novye-vozmozhnosti-svoei-blokchein-platformy\\\">announced<\/a> the technological compatibility of its own open blockchain platform with the Ethereum ecosystem of decentralized finance <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/what-is-ethereum-eth\">Ethereum<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This will enable developers to port smart contracts and entire projects between the bank&#8217;s infrastructure and other open networks.<\/p>\n<p>Participants on Sber&#8217;s platform can issue their own tokens and create smart contracts, settling them in rubles.<\/p>\n<p>Sberbank will also enable interaction of its network with the <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/what-is-metamask\">MetaMask<\/a> wallet and add the capability to launch DeFi applications.<\/p>\n<p>Developers can submit applications to Sber to gain access to the platform.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier on March 17, the Bank of Russia included the Sber platform in the registry of information-system operators.
