The search for additional round participants continues, they said.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p>\u201cAs part of its business processes, Matrixport regularly engages with key stakeholders, including investors interested in realising our mission as a provider of financial services in the digital assets space,\u201d commented Ross Gan, the company\u2019s spokesperson, confirming the fundraising.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to the presentation filed in Singapore, Matrixport processes $5 billion in transactions per month and manages assets worth \u201ctens of billions of dollars.\u201d The company employs around 300 people.<\/p>\n<p>Bloomberg named Matrixport one of the largest crypto lenders in Southeast Asia. Among the platform&#8217;s main competitors is Babel Finance, which <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/babel-finance-hires-kirkland-celsius-network-and-voyager-digital-also-turn-to-the-firm\">is undergoing a restructuring<\/a> due to <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/babel-finance-one-of-asias-largest-crypto-lenders-suspends-withdrawals-and-payments\">financial problems<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In November, Matrixport <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2022\/11\/11\/matrixports-btc-fixed-income-product-affected-by-ftxs-collapse\/\\\">acknowledged<\/a> that the \u201cFTX collapse\u201d affected some of the company&#8217;s products. The platform said that allegedly 79 users incurred losses.
