Company representatives <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blockfi.com\/blockfi-yield-accredited-investors\">called<\/a> the yields &#8216;competitive&#8217;.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;Any offers or sales of BlockFi Yield to accredited investors will be made in accordance with the registration-exemption under the Securities Act of 1933,&#8221; the company explained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Earlier this year, authorities <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bloomberg-blockfi-to-pay-100-million-in-fines-to-us-regulators\">obliged<\/a> BlockFi to pay fines of $100 million. Under the agreement, the company suspended providing U.S. residents with services related to BIA accounts.<\/p>\n<p>In June, the company <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/blockfi-to-lay-off-a-fifth-of-its-workforce\">announced<\/a> a 20% staff reduction.
