Faced with high technology costs and low profitability, management decided to seek a buyer.<\/p>\n<p>The Bitcoin Group comprises Futurum Bank and Sineus Financial Services (50% stake) with a BaFin license. The former operates the crypto-trading platform Bitcoin.de.<\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin Group aims to assemble a portfolio of companies that meet its investors&#8217; requirements in terms of risk diversification and potential returns.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in January, the BitMEX-affiliated cryptocurrency derivatives company BXM Operations and BVDH<a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bitmex-announces-acquisition-of-one-of-europes-oldest-banks\"> signed an agreement<\/a> to sell the latter.<\/p>\n<p>In March ForkLog<a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/media-bitmex-abandons-takeover-of-bankhaus-von-der-heydt\"> reported<\/a> on its cancellation. The reasons were not specified.
