In the framework of <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.fool.com\/earnings\/call-transcripts\/2022\/10\/20\/tesla-tsla-q3-2022-earnings-call-transcript\/?source=eptyholnk0000202&#038;utm_source=yahoo-host&#038;utm_medium=feed&#038;utm_campaign=article\\\">analysts&#8217; conference<\/a> related questions were not raised.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>Three months ago, Tesla disclosed information about <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/tesla-sold-75-of-its-bitcoin-holdings\">the sale of 75%<\/a> of its Bitcoin holdings for $936 million. Management explained this move as \\&#8221;the need to boost liquidity amid COVID restrictions in China\\&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>Elon Musk&#8217;s<a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/court-delays-twitter-case-against-musk-to-finalise-takeover\"> bid to revive the Twitter acquisition<\/a> deal, which would require $44 billion, did not lead to the liquidation of cryptocurrency positions.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>According to Bitcoin Treasuries, the average cost basis of Tesla&#8217;s first cryptocurrency prior to its partial sale could have been $34,722.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>As of writing, the site values Tesla&#8217;s 9,720 BTC at $185.93 million, well below the $337.5 million paid to acquire them.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>The company bought digital gold <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/elon-musks-tesla-invested-1-5-billion-in-bitcoin-the-assets-price-rose-to-44800\">in February 2021<\/a>.
