In an interview with<a href=\\\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/112217\/ethereum-co-founder-joe-lubin-todays-metaverse-is-internet-circa-1994-but-the-masses-are-coming\\\"> Decrypt<\/a>, Joseph Lubin, founder of ConsenSys and a co\u2011founder of Ethereum, said.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p><em>\u201cRight now the use of virtual &#8216;sandboxes&#8217; is somewhat like connecting to the Internet in its early days. I would dial a number and go to breakfast while my email loaded,\u201d<\/em> \u2014 the expert said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In the future Lubin sees metaverses as an immersive version of the Internet, despite their current &#8216;raw&#8217; character. They will become as ubiquitous as email, he added.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p><em>\u201cExperience working in <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/what-is-web3\">Web3<\/a> is not as attractive, but this won\\&#8217;t last long. Then the masses will come,\u201d<\/em> he explained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The expert doubted that the potential of metaverses could be realized on the first try, but expressed optimism about the promises to transform online life.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p><em>\u201cAnd our money, our work, and our activities will be realized either in augmented or in virtual reality.
