In a time where there\u2019s too much money, something like <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/crypto?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#crypto<\/a>, specifically <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Bitcoin?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Bitcoin<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Ethereum?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Ethereum<\/a>, that will have value at some point.\u00bb <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/9ZE8gQitpx\">pic.twitter.com\/9ZE8gQitpx<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Squawk Box (@SquawkCNBC) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SquawkCNBC\/status\/1579460717752684546?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 10, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cI still have a small exposure to Bitcoin,\u201d Jones said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In his view, the top two cryptocurrencies by market capitalization will hold value \u201cat some point\u201d due to an overabundance of money. The trader suggested that the prices of these assets would rise.<\/p>\n<p>Jones also pointed to the Federal Reserve\u2019s monetary policy. Until 2018 it was fairly straightforward, but two years later the regulator \u201coverdid it with quantitative easing\u201d in support of the economy, and then sharply changed its strategy, he explained.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cInflation is a bit like toothpaste. Once you squeeze it out of the tube, it\u2019s hard to put it back. The Fed is fiercely trying to rinse this aftertaste from its mouth. [\u2026] If we enter a recession, that will have truly negative consequences for a whole range of assets,\u201d noted the founder of Tudor Investment.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In June 2021 Jones said that <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/paul-tudor-jones-puts-5-of-his-portfolio-in-bitcoin-to-protect-against-inflation\">will allocate 5% of capital to Bitcoin<\/a> because of Fed policy. He argued that the leading cryptocurrency helps diversify an investment portfolio thanks to \u201cbuilt-in mathematics.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier he valued his Bitcoin holdings at $100 million.
