The platform&#8217;s liabilities exceeded its assets <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/gap-in-celsius-network-balance-sheet-amounts-to-2-85-billion\">by $2.85 billion<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In August, the U.S. Trustee&#8217;s Office said there were <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/u-s-authorities-raise-numerous-questions-for-celsius-network-leadership\">&#8220;numerous questions&#8221;<\/a> for the company&#8217;s management. Earlier, the FT reported on Mashinsky&#8217;s involvement in implementing the Celsius platform&#8217;s trading strategy, which cost <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/media-celsius-lost-millions-of-dollars-due-to-ceo-interference-in-trading\">&#8216;millions of dollars&#8217;<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In September, the CEO presented <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/media-reports-that-celsius-ceo-plans-to-revive-the-company\">a plan to rescue Celsius from bankruptcy<\/a>, according to media reports.
