ForkLog was informed by representatives of the trading platform.<\/p>\n<p>The bank developed in-house a process for depositing and withdrawing tenge on the exchange with low fees.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;This is the first crypto-fiat transaction between an exchange and a bank client on the Eurasian continent. It opens residents of Kazakhstan access to legally purchasing cryptocurrencies with tenge,&#8221; said Talgat Dosanov, director of Intebix.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Eurasian Bank also announced plans to issue by the end of the year <a href=\"https:\/\/eubank.kz\/kazakhstantsy-smogut-legal-no-pokupat-i-prodavat-kriptovalyutu-28-09-2022\/?lang=en\">payment crypto card<\/a>, which could be accepted in stores. The operation itself will be conducted in tenge from the account linked to the client&#8217;s Intebix account.<\/p>\n<p>The financial institution is currently working with the National Bank on potential risks of this project.<\/p>\n<p>In June a special working group, comprising representatives from the Ministry of Digital Development, the central bank and other regulators of Kazakhstan, approved pilot <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/aifc-based-exchanges-will-be-able-to-open-accounts-in-kazakh-banks\">rules for carrying out cryptocurrency operations<\/a> at the Astana International Financial Centre.<\/p>\n<p>At the initiative&#8217;s participation are licensed exchanges in collaboration with <span data-descr=\"the aggregate of all banks in the country, excluding the National Bank of Kazakhstan\" class=\"old_tooltip\">second-tier banks<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The pilot will be implemented throughout 2022.
