Reuters reports.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, Kraken does not offer securities to its 9 million clients. Ripley also said the exchange does not plan to delist tokens at the SEC&#8217;s request.<\/p>\n<p>In February, Kraken <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/us-authorities-suspect-kraken-of-sanctions-violations-reports-say\">rejected the proposal<\/a> to block the accounts of all users from Russia without legal grounds. The former CEO of the exchange, Jesse Powell, explained the position with libertarian values.<\/p>\n<p>In September <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/jesse-powell-to-step-down-as-kraken-chief-executive\">the man who replaced him as chief executive<\/a> Dave Ripley pledged to stay on the company&#8217;s cultural course. Previously, he served as Kraken&#8217;s chief operating officer.<\/p>\n<p>Gensler has said that <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/sec-chief-signals-possible-enforcement-action-against-unregistered-crypto-exchanges\">the majority of cryptocurrencies are securities<\/a> and fall under the regulator&#8217;s jurisdiction.
