This is reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marketwatch.com\/story\/bitcoin-has-reached-bottom-and-could-go-back-above-60-000-some-time-in-the-next-4-years-says-microstrategys-michael-saylor-11663784588\">MarketWatch<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He is confident that Bitcoin has bottomed in the current bear market and expects its price to rise to $500,000 in the next decade.<\/p>\n<p>Saylor said he personally owns 17,732 BTC, which he bought at about $9,500 roughly two years ago. Thus, the value of his investment in the leading cryptocurrency exceeds $165 million.<\/p>\n<p>He also said that Bitcoin has a strong case to replace gold as a store of value due to its resistance to government control.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, MicroStrategy <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/microstrategy-adds-301-btc-for-6-million\">purchased an additional 301 BTC<\/a> for $6 million. The average purchase price was $19,851 per BTC.<\/p>\n<p>As noted, Michael Saylor is a well-known bitcoin advocate. He describes the leading cryptocurrency <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/michael-saylor-bitcoin-is-the-most-reliable-asset-in-a-volatile-world\">as the most trusted thing in a volatile world<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/michael-saylor-bitcoin-is-a-world-reserve-asset-but-not-a-currency\">a global reserve asset<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On August 8, Saylor <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/michael-saylor-to-step-down-as-microstrategy-ceo\">stepped down as MicroStrategy&#8217;s CEO<\/a>, remaining chairman of the board.
