Wyre will instead enter into a commercial agreement with Bolt to implement its product on the company&#8217;s client platform.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cIt had been expected that the deal would close by the end of 2022, but Wyre and Bolt both chose to remain independent companies,\u201d the startup said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The acquisition <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bolt-signs-deal-to-acquire-blockchain-startup-wyre-for-1-5-billion\">became known<\/a> in April. At the time, The Wall Street Journal called Wyre&#8217;s impending purchase the largest in the history of the crypto industry without the participation of <span data-descr=\"a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC)\" class=\"old_tooltip\">SPAC<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 2014, Bolt Financial offers merchants one-click checkout. The deal would have allowed the company to enter the cryptocurrency payments market.<\/p>\n<p>Wyre operates a blockchain payments platform.
