This marked the second-largest increase in the metric for the year so far. The maximum difficulty <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bitcoin-mining-difficulty-hits-a-new-high\">reached on May 11<\/a> (31.25 T) on the eve of the crypto-market slump sparked by <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/terras-death-spiral-how-and-why-luna-and-ust-collapsed\">the Terra crash<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In January, CKPool clients solo-mined Bitcoin blocks three times.
