Among potential buyers were reportedly FTX chief and Tron Foundation founder Justin Sun.<\/p>\n<p>According to journalist Colin Wu, last week Huobi changed all employee email addresses from Huobi.com to htx-inc.com.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThere are rumors that FTX has completed the acquisition,\u201d Wu noted, adding Bankman-Fried&#8217;s denial.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Last week, Huobi changed all employee email addresses from <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/uiqrIPWAHO\">https:\/\/t.co\/uiqrIPWAHO<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/JibBeOZb47\">https:\/\/t.co\/JibBeOZb47<\/a>. According to sources, Coinbase was out of the running as a potential buyer\u2014its staff concluded that the crypto broker&#8217;s financials did not add up.<\/p>\n<p>In May, Bankman-Fried <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/ftx-chief-says-the-exchange-will-spend-billions-on-acquiring-stakes-in-other-companies\">pledged to spend \u201cbillions\u201d<\/a> on acquiring stakes in other companies.<\/p>\n<p>In June, FTX <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/ftx-to-provide-blockfi-with-a-250-million-revolving-credit-facility\">opened<\/a> a revolving credit line of $250 million for the crypto-lending platform BlockFi.
