The exchange said this in the <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.bitstamp.net\/post\/3-things-you-need-to-know-about-the-inactivity-fee\/\">\u0431\u043b\u043e\u0433\u0435<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8216;inactivity fee&#8217; will be introduced from 1 August and will amount to \u20ac10 per month. It applies to clients with a balance on their account of less than \u20ac200 who have not traded, deposited or withdrawn assets on Bitstamp for a year.<\/p>\n<p>The extra charge can be avoided by:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>purchases or sales of cryptocurrencies (minimum amount \u2014 USD 25, EUR 25 or GBP 25);<\/li>\n<li>deposits or withdrawals (a similar minimum amount);<\/li>\n<li>staking via Bitstamp Earn.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The platform&#8217;s team attributed the move to the costs of servicing inactive accounts.<\/p>\n<p>In April, Bitstamp asked clients for <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bitstamp-asks-users-to-disclose-the-origin-of-their-crypto-assets\">information about the origin of their crypto assets<\/a>.
