As of 6\/28\/22 <a href=\\\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MicroStrategy?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\\\">@MicroStrategy<\/a> holds ~129,699 bitcoins acquired for ~$3.98 billion at an average price of ~$30,664 per bitcoin. <a href=\\\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24MSTR&#038;src=ctag&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\\\">$MSTR<\/a><a href=\\\"https:\/\/t.co\/leQYTXn817\\\">https:\/\/t.co\/leQYTXn817<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Michael Saylor\u26a1\ufe0f (@saylor) <a href=\\\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/saylor\/status\/1542117682207678465?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\\\">June 29, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async=\\\"\\\" src=\\\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\\\" charset=\\\"utf-8\\\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>According to Saylor, as of June 28 MicroStrategy owns 129,699 BTC, acquired for $3.98 billion at an average price of $30,664.<\/p>\n<p>Against the backdrop of the first cryptocurrency&#8217;s price collapse, the company\u2019s \u201cpaper\u201d loss from holding the bitcoins <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/microstrategys-paper-loss-tops-1bn-as-bitcoin-crashes\">exceeded $1 billion<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in June, Saylor stated that MicroStrategy <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/michael-saylor-microstrategy-will-continue-to-hold-bitcoin-even-in-adverse-market-conditions\">will continue to hodl digital gold even in poor market conditions<\/a>, as the company\u2019s investment strategy contemplates volatility and adverse conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The CEO of the analytics-software provider is convinced that this approach <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/microstrategy-chief-says-bitcoin-purchase-policy-has-been-highly-successful\">will provide the company with a \u201cbright future\u201d<\/a> for the coming years.<\/p>\n<p>In March, MicroStrategy <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/microstrategy-secures-205-million-debt-financing-to-buy-bitcoin\">took out a $205 million loan<\/a> to buy cryptocurrency.
