For legal entities the penalty will range from 500,000 to 700,000 rubles.<\/p>\n<p>The statute of limitations for liability is one year from the date of the respective offense, according to the document.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative&#8217;s author was Anatoly Aksakov, head of the Committee on the Financial Market.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier he introduced a bill proposing <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/duma-introduces-bill-to-ban-the-use-of-digital-assets-as-a-means-of-payment\">ban on using DFAs as a means of payment<\/a> on the territory of the Russian Federation. The document <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/russias-state-duma-backs-in-the-first-reading-a-ban-on-using-digital-financial-assets-dfas-as-a-means-of-payment\">was approved in the first reading<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In May, the State Duma also adopted in the first reading <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/state-duma-backs-first-reading-of-bill-taxing-digital-assets\">a bill on taxing DFA operations<\/a>.
