To preserve profitability, BlockFi undertook a series of measures, including:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>cutting marketing spend;<\/li>\n<li>eliminating non-critical suppliers;<\/li>\n<li>reducing executive compensation;<\/li>\n<li>slowing headcount growth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWe are reducing headcount by about 20%, which affects every team in the company.
