Binance Italy, the local subsidiary, registered with the local regulator \u2014 <span data-descr=\"Agency for Agents and Mediators\" class=\"old_tooltip\">OAM<\/span>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The registration is part of our ongoing expansion in Europe, which also makes <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Binance?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Binance<\/a> the first major exchange to be registered to offer crypto products to Italian customers.<\/p>\n<p>We will continue to work with global regulators to bring crypto industry into the mainstream.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Binance (@binance) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/binance\/status\/1530218957306724354?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 27, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>In July 2021, the Italian National Commission for Companies and the Stock Exchange<a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/italy-and-malta-warn-consumers-about-unregulated-binance-activity\">warned consumers<\/a> that Binance was not authorised to provide investment services or to operate in the country.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u300cThe registration of Binance Italy, the Group&#8217;s local legal entity formed a few months ago, enables the company to offer crypto products to Italian clients,\u300d the company said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Binance intends to strengthen its presence in the Italian market.
