Educational resources will be launched to bolster the rigor of investment decisions.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the neobank&#8217;s parent company, Nu Holdings, will allocate 1% of net assets to purchasing Bitcoin as a reserve asset.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cCryptocurrencies are becoming increasingly popular in Latin America, transforming the region. We have created a safe, simple and intuitive interface that will provide access to new assets,\u201d<\/em> said David V\u00e9lez, Chief Executive Officer and founder of Nubank.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In September 2020, Nubank <a href=\"https:\/\/building.nubank.com.br\/nubank-acquires-digital-broker-easynvest\/\">acquired<\/a> the investment platform Easynvest. In May 2021, the Central Bank of Brazil approved the merger, and on June 2 the parties <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.nubank.com.br\/nubank-easynvest-juntas\/\">closed<\/a> the deal.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of the acquisition, Easynvest managed about $5 billion in assets, and its clients numbered 1.6 million. Renamed NuInvest, the platform offers investments in digital assets through funds and <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-cryptocurrency-etf\">ETF<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Before Nubank, Paxos provided infrastructure to access the cryptocurrency market for <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.io\/interactive-brokers-zapustila-torgovlyu-kriptovalyutami\/\">Interactive Brokers<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.io\/platezhnyj-servis-mercadolibre-otkroet-klientam-dostup-k-kriptovalyutam\/\"> Mercado Libre<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.io\/mastercard-uprostit-konvertatsiyu-kriptovalyut-v-fiat\/\"> Mastercard<\/a>. According to the company, its efforts have given around 500 million people access to the new asset class.<\/p>\n<p>In September 2021, Brazilian investment bank BTG Pactual announced the launch of a trading platform oriented toward digital assets.
