By the end of 2022, Bitcoin would trade at $65,185, according to fintech experts surveyed by Finder<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The experts predicted further gains for digital gold. They expect Bitcoin to be worth $179,280 on 31 December 2025, and $420,240 by the end of 2030.<\/p>\n

One of those who hold the latter view, John Hopkins, a lecturer at the University of Canberra, said:<\/p>\n

\u201cIn addition to replacing private cryptocurrencies with CBDCs and the general collapse of the speculative bubble, I think Bitcoin will lose to Ethereum, which has stronger use cases, especially if the network moves to Proof-of-Stake<\/a> and becomes more eco-friendly.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Half of the experts believe that ultimately Bitcoin will be displaced from the top spot by a more advanced blockchain. 38% are confident that digital gold will remain on the throne.<\/p>\n

\u201cEthereum could surpass BTC in terms of market capitalization. Solana is becoming the main hub for on-chain derivatives. Bitcoin is not a blockchain conducive to technological advancement. It is simply a cryptocurrency, if you look at it,\u201d said Ganesh Kompella, co-founder of Tykhe Block Ventures.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The assets cited by the expert formed the top three most profitable coins for 2022, according to the group’s expectations.<\/p>\n

Experts were asked to name the five most effective cryptocurrencies. 87% of respondents included Ethereum. Bitcoin came in second at 71%, Solana third at 55%. Avalanche and Terra closed the top five with 31% and 30% respectively.<\/p>\n

As of writing, digital gold trades around $38,500, having refreshed its local low<\/a>.<\/p>\n
