Yuga Labs did not disclose project details, but in the video released at the time characters from the BAYC, MAYC, CryptoPunks and Meebits appeared. The rights to the latter two were <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bored-ape-yacht-club-creators-acquire-rights-to-cryptopunks-and-meebits\">acquired<\/a> in the same month.<\/p>\n<p>Following the announcement, a Yuga Labs presentation leaked online. The team will also release an <span data-descr=\"software development kit\" class=\"old_tooltip\">SDK<\/span>, enabling content creators to design their own NFTs.<\/p>\n<p>The metaverse is allegedly set to comprise 200,000 land parcels, but initially the developers will release only half. 30% will be distributed via an airdrop among BAYC and MAYC holders. The remaining tokens will be put up for sale.<\/p>\n<p>Each parcel has a number of unique characteristics. As of writing, the asset traded near $16.58.<\/p>\n<p>In March, <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bored-ape-yacht-club-creator-raises-450-million-at-4-billion-valuation\">Yuga Labs raised $450 million<\/a> from Andreessen Horowitz, Animoca Brands and other investors.
