The deal could be worth $3.2 billion, <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.theblockcrypto.com\/linked\/142836\/coinbase-in-talks-to-acquire-turkish-crypto-exchange-btcturk-report\\\">The Block<\/a> writes, citing local sources.<\/p>\n<p>The parties have signed a memorandum of understanding and are undergoing <a href=\\\"https:\/\/ru.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Due_diligence\\\" title=\\\"due diligence\\\">due diligence<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 2013, BtcTurk serves 4.5 million users.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.cumhuriyet.com.tr\/ekonomi\/btcturk-satiliyor-iddiasi-1928204\\\">Cumhuriyet<\/a>, in 2021 the platform&#8217;s trading volume stood at roughly $116 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The move reflects Coinbase&#8217;s intention to broaden its footprint in developing markets.
