Coinbase&#8217;s vice president of product, Sanchan Saxena, told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theblockcrypto.com\/post\/142684\/coinbase-nft-marketplace-beta-launch\">The Block<\/a> that there are plans to add support for other blockchains.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, users will be able to use any wallets, including Coinbase Wallet and MetaMask. For a limited period, the platform will not charge transaction fees.<\/p>\n<p>Users will have to undergo <span data-descr=\"know your customer, know your customer\" class=\"old_tooltip\">KYC<\/span>-verification to use the marketplace. At the time of writing, only Ethereum is accepted as payment; later the company will add fiat-deposit options. Since then, more than 1.5 million users have signed up for the waitlist.<\/p>\n<p>In April 2022, Coinbase <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/coinbase-to-cast-bored-ape-yacht-club-nfts-in-the-degen-trilogy-film-series\">announced<\/a> the release of an NFT series from the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection.
