At the time of writing, the wallet held 147,753 ETH.<\/p>\n<p>Analysts at Chainalysis also noted that the address was involved in the Ronin breach \u2014 it received stolen 173,600 ETH and 25.5 million USDC. <\/p>\n<figure class=\\\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\\\">\n<div class=\\\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\\\">\n<blockquote class=\\\"twitter-tweet\\\" data-width=\\\"500\\\" data-dnt=\\\"true\\\">\n<p lang=\\\"en\\\" dir=\\\"ltr\\\">THREAD: Updates to OFAC\u2019s SDN designation for Lazarus Group confirm that the North Korean cybercriminal group was behind the March hack of Ronin Bridge, in which over $600 million worth of ETH and USDC was stolen.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Chainalysis (@chainalysis) <a href=\\\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/chainalysis\/status\/1514645221027594245?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\\\">April 14, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\\\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\\\" charset=\\\"utf-8\\\"><\/script>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>In the FBI statement, it says that Lazarus was responsible for the theft of about $620 million in cryptocurrency. In the Ronin attack, the attacker withdrew about $625 million.<\/p>\n<p>Lazarus is linked to the North Korean authorities. Hackers <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/chainalysis-links-lazarus-to-kucoin-hack-worth-280m\">involved in other major hacks<\/a> in the crypto industry.<\/p>\n<p>The attack on the Ronin sidechain <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/ronin-the-ethereum-sidechain-hacked-attacker-siphons-625-million\">was disclosed on March 29<\/a>.
