Interest on these funds will not accrue.<\/p>\n<p>The changes do not affect assets of US users deposited before April 15.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;These coins will continue to yield rewards as long as they remain on Earn accounts,&#8221; Celsius representatives clarified.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>For residents of other countries, the terms remain unchanged.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, similar moves were made by Celsius competitors \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/nexo-suspends-interest-payments-for-us-customers\">Nexo<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bloomberg-blockfi-to-pay-100-million-in-fines-to-us-regulators\">BlockFi<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In January 2022, media reported about an SEC investigation into lending-service providers Voyager, Gemini and Celsius Network.
