Polygon aims to become the de facto platform for Web3 development, wrote Polygon co-founder Mihailo Bjelic.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The platform uses <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.iden3.io\/\">iden3<\/a> \u2014 a decentralized zero-knowledge proof-based identity protocol. This technology enables verification of data that remains encrypted and hidden from the verifying party.<\/p>\n<p>Developers say Polygon ID is a new step in the evolution of on-chain authentication, as the solution eliminates the need to rely on centralized intermediary services.<\/p>\n<p>Polygon is one of the largest blockchain ecosystems.
