{"id":58629,"date":"2022-03-09T15:38:38","date_gmt":"2022-03-09T13:38:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=58629"},"modified":"2025-09-04T17:43:25","modified_gmt":"2025-09-04T14:43:25","slug":"biden-issues-executive-order-coordinating-federal-agencies-on-cryptocurrency-regulation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/biden-issues-executive-order-coordinating-federal-agencies-on-cryptocurrency-regulation\/","title":{"rendered":"Biden issues executive order coordinating federal agencies on cryptocurrency regulation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>U.S. President Joe Biden issued a new executive order, which among other things directs federal agencies to coordinate their efforts in regulating the cryptocurrency industry. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/policy\/2022\/03\/09\/biden-issues-long-awaited-executive-order-on-crypto\/\">CoinDesk<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n<p>The administration identified six \u201ckey priorities\u201d:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>consumer protection;<\/li>\n<li>financial stability;<\/li>\n<li>illicit use;<\/li>\n<li>leadership in the global financial sector;<\/li>\n<li>access to financial services;<\/li>\n<li>promoting innovation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The document notes that the volatility of digital assets is among the main risks for investors.
