Three banks from the pilot group have already connected to it.<\/p>\n<p>Two of them (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vtb.ru\/o-banke\/press-centr\/novosti-i-press-relizy\/2022\/02\/2022-02-15-vtb-i-psb-pervymi-v-rossii-protestirovali-perevod-tsifrovykh-rubley-mezhdu-klientami\/\" title=\"https:\/\/www.vtb.ru\/o-banke\/press-centr\/novosti-i-press-relizy\/2022\/02\/2022-02-15-vtb-i-psb-pervymi-v-rossii-protestirovali-perevod-tsifrovykh-rubley-mezhdu-klientami\/\">\u0412\u0422\u0411 \u0438 \u041f\u0421\u0411<\/a>) successfully carried out the full cycle of operations for transferring digital rubles between clients via the banks&#8217; mobile apps.<\/p>\n<p>Clients opened digital wallets on the platform and swapped non-cash rubles for digital ones. They then conducted transfers of digital assets between themselves.<\/p>\n<p>The remaining participants in the pilot will join the platform testing as their IT systems are completed, the Bank of Russia said.<\/p>\n<p>The first group for piloting the digital ruble <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bank-of-russia-names-12-banks-to-be-first-to-test-the-digital-ruble\">included 12 banks<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The central bank <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bank-of-russia-says-prototype-for-digital-ruble-platform-is-ready\">announced<\/a> the readiness of the platform prototype at the end of December.
