Grayscale Investments<a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/grayscale-files-for-future-of-finance-etf-targeting-blockchain-linked-stocks\"> filed<\/a> the application in November 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The ETF&#8217;s holdings were augmented by 22 stocks. The largest weights were Silvergate Capital (8.38%), PayPal Holdings (8.37%), Coinbase Global (8.24%), Block (7.85%), and Robinhood Markets (7.71%).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Securities of firms such as MicroStrategy and Tesla were not included in the GFOF basket, as they have limited themselves to cryptocurrencies as a payment method or reserve asset.<\/p>\n<p>62.3% of the ETF&#8217;s assets under management are invested in financial-institution stocks, with the remainder allocated to digital-asset infrastructure solutions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\\\"https:\/\/grayscale.com\/gfof\/\\\">forecast growth<\/a> in the capacity of the digital-asset payments market to $11.3 trillion by 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Back in December 2021 the <span data-descr=\\\"U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission\\\" class=\\\"old_tooltip\\\">SEC<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/sec-delays-decisions-on-bitwise-and-grayscale-bitcoin-etf-applications\"> postponed<\/a> the decision on Grayscale&#8217;s application to launch a spot Bitcoin ETF. Grayscale<a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/dcg-chief-confirms-plans-to-convert-grayscales-bitcoin-trust-into-an-etf\"> filed<\/a> an application to convert the digital-gold-backed trust into an ETF based on the first cryptocurrency on 19 October.<\/p>\n<p>In late October the regulator <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/sec-approves-futures-based-bitcoin-etfs-from-vaneck-and-valkyrie-investments\">approved<\/a> applications to launch Bitcoin futures ETFs from VanEck and Valkyrie Investments, as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/sec-quietly-approves-first-futures-based-bitcoin-etf\">ProShares<\/a>.
