At current prices, the value of these assets exceeds $3.6 billion.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/jB3NuaAWxm4CdHtud1dGXSq9FVsJTmXi6hFybd8-412yf82fOutTP014hhNxcWdmxj_pEqcy_vKgZLz7QZ2hpr-KbnWTgwZkZWfdrGlDX9O8_p6GmcrIPIgt3vA0aUMIGMp1u5qG\" alt=\"Over 90,000 BTC moved from Bitfinex hack\"\/><figcaption><meta charset=\"utf-8\">Data: Blockchair.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Previously, the hackers moved funds in April 2021, after <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/coinbase-shares-begin-trading-on-nasdaq-market-capitalisation-tops-100bn\"> listing <\/a> of the Coinbase bitcoin exchange on Nasdaq. Then the first cryptocurrency retraced from its highs, and in the Telegram channel Goldfoundinshit it was reminded that such news typically triggers a dump.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of writing, Bitcoin&#8217;s price hovered around $38,300. In total, the attackers stole 119,756 BTC ($71.8 million at the time, more than $4.6 billion at current prices).<\/p>\n<p>In May 2020, unknown actors sent 30.667192 BTC from the stolen funds to anonymous addresses.
