The victim was the underage son of Animoca Brands&#8217; co-founder and chairman, Yat Siu.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"twitter-tweet\\\">\n<p lang=\\\"en\\\" dir=\\\"ltr\\\">2\/ He contacted my son through discord via buy\/sell channel for <a href=\\\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RTFKTstudios?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\\\">@RTFKTstudios<\/a> on discord for his Clone-X and then suggested to use Sudoswap and phished his account via a fake link that looked legit but for a tiny detail (the .id) <a href=\\\"https:\/\/t.co\/zFwXrt4L39\\\">https:\/\/t.co\/zFwXrt4L39<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Yat Siu (@ysiu) <a href=\\\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ysiu\/status\/1485858025805991936?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\\\">January 25, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async=\\\"\\\" src=\\\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\\\" charset=\\\"utf-8\\\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>According to Siu, the attacker contacted his son via Discord regarding the NFT avatar<a href=\\\"https:\/\/opensea.io\/assets\/0x49cf6f5d44e70224e2e23fdcdd2c053f30ada28b\/13720\\\"> CloneX #2385<\/a> from the RTFKT Studios. He declined to conduct the deal through the OpenSea marketplace and suggested using Sudoswap after dropping the phishing link.<\/p>\n<p>The Animoca Brands co-founder noted that it looked legitimate, &#8220;if not for one tiny detail (.id).&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>As a result, the unknown attacker managed to steal three NFTs from Siu&#8217;s son&#8217;s cold wallet. The tokens are two Mutant Ape Yacht Club tokens (#2568 and #24112) and CloneX #2385.
