Crypto.com, the payments platform, has become the sponsor of the Australian Football League. This is reported by <\/a>FX Empire<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The sponsorship agreement also includes collaboration with the Australian Women’s Football League.<\/p>\n

The deal marks Crypto.com’s first in the country, according to CoinTelegraph. According to the head of the Asia-Pacific region, Karla Mohan, the company was drawn by Australians’ interest in digital assets.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur latest customer research in Australia showed that more than half (53%) of crypto investors were women,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Earlier, a PureProfile survey showed annual growth in Australians who buy or hold digital assets, from 18.4% to 28.8%. The share of crypto investors among women \u0443\u0432\u0435\u043b\u0438\u0447\u0438\u043b\u0430\u0441\u044c \u0441 10,3% \u0434\u043e 20%<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In November 2021, Crypto.com paid $700 million<\/a> to rename the Staples Center as Crypto.com Arena. The venue is home to the NBA<\/span>‘s Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers, and the NHL<\/span>‘s Los Angeles Kings.<\/p>\n

In September, Crypto.com entered into<\/a> a sponsorship deal with the French football club Paris Saint-Germain.<\/p>\n
