The figures in Ethereum wallet metrics are provided by <a href=\\\"https:\/\/dune.xyz\/queries\/2877\/5680\\\">Dune Analytics<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Since the start of the year, OpenSea&#8217;s trading volume has <a href=\\\"https:\/\/dune.xyz\/rchen8\/opensea\\\">reached<\/a> $2.85 billion. The platform recorded a record monthly figure of $3.43 billion in August 2021. Over the year, the figure stood at more than $14.6 billion \u2014 90% of the market.<\/p>\n<p>In December 2021, the top NFT marketplace by volume <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/nft-marketplace-opensea-raises-300-million-at-a-13-billion-valuation\">raised $300 million<\/a> at a valuation of $13.3 billion. Following the previous funding round in July, the figure <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/nft-marketplace-opensea-raises-100-million-at-a-1-5-billion-valuation\">stood at $1.5 billion<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In early 2022, LooksRare launched its NFT marketplace. Its founders mounted a \u201cvampire attack\u201d on OpenSea.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, ForkLog <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/media-reports-that-gamestop-plans-to-launch-nft-marketplace\">reported<\/a> plans for GameStop to launch an NFT marketplace.
