He noted that, given the hashrate, CKPool&#8217;s chance of finding a new block was 1 in 20, while for the individual user the probability was much lower \u2014 1 in 6,000.<\/p>\n<p>On Twitter, some suggested that the Bitcoin code contains an internal bias in favour of individual miners. Kolivas refuted this hypothesis.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"twitter-tweet\\\">\n<p lang=\\\"en\\\" dir=\\\"ltr\\\">Ultimately all big miners are made up of thousands of individual miners, so alas not.
