Launched in May 2021, FairX operates as a designated contract market (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marketswiki.com\/wiki\/Designated_Contract_Market\">designated contract market, DCM<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Among its partners are TD Ameritrade, E*Trade, StoneX, PhillipCapital, ABN AMRO, Wedbush, Virtu Financial and others.<\/p>\n<p>The closing of the deal is expected in the first financial quarter. The parties must obtain regulatory approval. The price of the deal was not disclosed. The exchange will gradually integrate FairX into its ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>In September, Coinbase <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/coinbase-files-application-to-register-as-a-futures-commission-merchant\">submitted<\/a> an application to the <span data-descr=\"U.S. National Futures Association\" class=\"old_tooltip\">NFA<\/span> for registration as a futures commission merchant (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marketswiki.com\/wiki\/Futures_Commission_Merchant\">futures commission merchant, FCM<\/a>).
