With this initiative, Uniswap as a flagship Ethereum app returns to its original vision and again offers low fees and open access for all\u00bb, said Bjelic in an interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2021\/12\/22\/uniswap-launches-on-polygon-driving-matic-to-all-time-highs\/\">CoinDesk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Against this backdrop, the native Uniswap token (UNI) also rose significantly. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/defillama.com\/protocol\/uniswap\">DeFi Llama<\/a>, its smart contracts are already deployed on two Layer-2 networks \u2014 Arbitrum and Optimism.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the first network, total value locked (TVL) reached $62 million, in the second \u2014 $37 million. In the Ethereum blockchain, the figure stood at $8.73 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Uniswap\u2019s TVL on Polygon has already reached $6.10 million.
