This was <a href=\\\"https:\/\/saratov.sledcom.ru\/news\/item\/1640698\/\\\">\u0441\u043e\u043e\u0431\u0449\u0438\u043b\u0438<\/a> in the local office of the Investigative Committee.<\/p>\n<p>The former officer was fined 30,000 rubles and barred from holding positions in Russia&#8217;s law-enforcement agencies for two years.<\/p>\n<p>According to the case materials, from December 2020 to July 2021 the traffic police officer placed mining equipment in a police station. The damage from illegally consumed electricity amounted to 231,000 rubles. The convict reimbursed this amount.<\/p>\n<p>The officer was dismissed &#8216;for conduct unbecoming of a member of the internal affairs bodies&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>During the search, law enforcement officers found two ASIC miners, a Wi\u2011Fi router and three power supplies.
