In his name they wrote that Bitcoin would be recognised as legal tender in the country.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The Twitter handle of PM <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/narendramodi?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@narendramodi<\/a> was very briefly compromised. The matter was escalated to Twitter and the account has been immediately secured.<\/p>\n<p>In the brief period that the account was compromised, any Tweet shared must be ignored.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 PMO India (@PMOIndia) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PMOIndia\/status\/1469786236990607361?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 11, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;This matter has been referred to Twitter, and the account has been secured immediately. At the time of writing, the fake tweet had been removed.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in September 2020, the Indian prime minister&#8217;s Twitter <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/hackers-breach-one-of-indias-prime-ministers-twitter-accounts\">was hacked<\/a>. Unknown individuals then posted a fake appeal to transfer funds in cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to that, the accounts of Elon Musk, Bill Gates and other celebrities were subjected to a large-scale attack.
