Along with him, some other developers left, <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/sushiswap-cto-threatens-to-quit-amid-internal-disagreements\">aired the disagreements<\/a> in public.<\/p>\n<p>The CTO of SushiSwap called the allegations &#8220;absurd libel&#8221; and threatened to quit the project if key developers were not granted greater autonomy.<\/p>\n<p>He brought before the community <a href=\"https:\/\/forum.sushi.com\/t\/bridge-compensation-for-sushi-core\/6217\">a proposal<\/a> to allocate 200,000 SUSHI <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/en\/coins\/sushi\">($1.2m<\/a> at the time of writing) to each of the 19 developers on the project. But it failed to gain support. Of the 97 votes cast, more than two-thirds opposed.<\/p>\n<p>Delong doubted that the current chaos within SushiSwap could be neutralised. He recommended moving key positions outside the <span data-descr=\"decentralised autonomous organisation\" class=\"old_tooltip\">DAO<\/span> and equipping them with effective governance mechanisms for managing the team.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>Be wary of self-proclaimed leaders from the current core team,<\/em> he warned.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I highly recommend the installation of a C-suite from outside the DAO and give them the tools to effectively manage a team.
