Financial terms were not disclosed.<\/p>\n<p>HGX, founded in 2019 by PhillipCapital, PrimePartners and Fundnel, <a href=\"https:\/\/eservices.mas.gov.sg\/fid\/institution\/detail\/232832-HGX-PTE-LTD\">holds<\/a> a license from the <span data-descr=\"Monetary Authority of Singapore\" class=\"old_tooltip\">MAS<\/span>, the recognised market regulator. It enables trading of digital tokens and securities.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to security-tokens of private companies, HGX focuses on listing tokenised wine, art and real estate.<\/p>\n<p>The trading platform runs on the Zilliqa blockchain.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;We intend to cooperate with HGX in expanding blockchain-based product and service offerings,&#8221;<\/em> said Richard Teng, CEO of Binance Singapore.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Binance <a href=\"https:\/\/www.binance.sg\/en\/user\/agreement\">operates<\/a> in the country through Binance Asia Services Pte. Ltd. Currently this entity <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mas.gov.sg\/regulation\/payments\/entities-that-have-notified-mas-pursuant-to-the-ps-esp-r\">is on<\/a> the MAS list of entities exempt from holding a license under the Payments Services Act.<\/p>\n<p>Binance Singapore, which owns the binance.sg domain, has submitted a license application to MAS and is currently <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/singapore-warns-investors-about-binances-unregulated-activity\">operating<\/a> &#8220;under the relevant exemption&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in November, <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/changpeng-zhao-outlines-plans-to-open-binance-headquarters-in-france\">said<\/a> about plans to open Binance&#8217;s headquarters in France.<\/p>\n<p>Later, he <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/changpeng-zhao-buys-property-in-dubai-as-media-hint-at-binance-opening-office-in-the-emirate\">added<\/a> that the UAE and Singapore were also among the possible jurisdictions.
