The group will focus on developing an &#8220;alternative&#8221; internet economy based on LN.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Arcane Research analysts forecast that the number of Lightning Network users <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/arcane-research-lightning-network-users-to-top-700-million-by-2030\">will exceed 700 million by 2030<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, Blockstream&#8217;s Chief Strategy Officer Samson Mow said that the theoretical throughput of the LN network <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/opinion-the-lightning-network-will-make-bitcoin-a-global-medium-of-exchange\">is 40 million transactions per second<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Follow ForkLog news on <a href=\"https:\/\/vk.com\/forklogcom\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">VK<\/a>!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bitcoin-focused project Spiral (formerly Square Crypto) published a video about the Lightning Development Kit.
