According to <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2021\/12\/05\/vcs-eye-investment-in-polygon\/\">TechCrunch<\/a>, citing sources.<\/p>\n<p>Among the participants in the potential deal to invest in the network of secure <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-layer%e2%80%912-solution-in-blockchain\">second-layer<\/a> solutions (L2) and autonomous <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/sidechains-what-they-are-and-how-they-work\">sidechains<\/a>, the publication named Sequoia Capital India and Steadview Capital.<\/p>\n<p>According to sources, the investors could purchase tokens at a 20% discount to the average MATIC price over the past month. Terms are still under discussion.<\/p>\n<p>The publication noted that previously the startup faced a demand from one of its early investors to return funds during the bear market. The Polygon founders managed to resolve the matter and continue development.<\/p>\n<p>In November, the team <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/polygon-unveils-zk-rollups-based-scaling-solution-for-ethereum\">unveiled<\/a> a solution for scaling Ethereum based on ZK-Rollups.
