The roster was disclosed by the chair of the Financial Services Committee, Maxine Waters.<\/p>\n<p>Among the participants are Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire, FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried, Bitfury CEO Brian Brooks, Paxos CEO Charles Cascarilla, Stellar Development Foundation CEO Denelle Dixon, and Coinbase Global CFO Alesia Haas.<\/p>\n<p>No additional information was disclosed.<\/p>\n<p>Waters aims to protect investors and consumers by holding tech giants to account. In June, under her leadership, they created <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/us-forms-new-working-group-on-cryptocurrencies\">cryptocurrencies working group<\/a>, previously with a focus on <span data-descr='national digital currency' class='old_tooltip'>CBDC<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Waters has previously expressed concerns about the <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/libra-association-renamed-to-diem-association\">Diem Association<\/a> (Libra Association) project.
