The auction will run from 2 to 8 December on the Superare NFT platform.<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds will be directed to funding measures to secure the release of the Silk Road founder from prison, and to launch the Art4Giving charitable fund \u2014 meant to ease the suffering of prisoners and their families.<\/p>\n<p>In 2015 a court found Ulbricht guilty of operating the darknet marketplace Silk Road and other crimes, including drug trafficking and a conspiracy to launder funds. He was sentenced to life imprisonment.<\/p>\n<p>In December 2020 the then-president Donald Trump instructed White House counsel <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/trump-weighs-possible-clemency-for-silk-road-founder-ross-ulbricht\">to study the documents related to Ross Ulbricht&#8217;s case<\/a>.
