It enables splitting private keys into fragments that are distributed among trusted parties to execute a transaction.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;This technology is crucial for creating <span data-descr=\"non-fungible tokens\" class=\"old_tooltip\">NFT<\/span> and <span data-descr=\"decentralized finance\" class=\"old_tooltip\">DeFi<\/span>, as well as other Web 3.0 applications, because it eliminates the need for autonomous (cold) storage,&#8221; commented a Coinbase spokesperson to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theblockcrypto.com\/post\/125770\/coinbase-to-acquire-crypto-custody-technology-firm-unbound-security\">The Block<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He said the exchange plans to integrate MPC into retail and institutional products over time. The company expects the Unbound Security team to form &#8216;the core of a new research centre&#8217; in Israel.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/coinbase-to-issue-1-5-billion-of-senior-notes-for-general-corporate-purposes-including-potential-ma\"> Coinbase announced the issuance of bonds worth $1.5 billion<\/a>.
