In the future, he did not rule out an IPO for the parent company.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;From the point of view of an IPO [Binance.US], it would probably be best to conduct several rounds of financing before that,&#8221;<\/em> he added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The media first reported Binance.US&#8217;s plans to conduct a funding round <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/media-gemini-and-binance-us-eye-unicorn-status-after-new-funding-rounds\">in September<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>By that time the bitcoin exchange <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/former-ant-group-and-uber-executive-named-president-of-binance-us\">announced<\/a> the appointment of Brian Schroeder as president of the US unit. He was tasked with preparing for a <span data-descr=\"initial public offering\" class=\"old_tooltip\">IPO<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Zhao announced plans for Binance.US <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/changpeng-zhao-binance-us-to-pursue-ipo-within-three-years\">to conduct a public offering on the US stock market<\/a> within the next three years.<\/p>\n<p>In the interview, the Binance CEO noted the potential to reduce the size of the fees charged, thanks to the high profitability the company generates.<\/p>\n<p>Zhao reiterated his commitment to working with regulators to ease concerns about the risks faced by retail traders in the cryptocurrency market.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;We want regulation. I am not a full libertarian, I am not an anarchist,&#8221;<\/em> he explained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Binance may also soon decide on the location of its headquarters; the information will initially be available to regulators.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in November, Zhao <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/changpeng-zhao-outlines-plans-to-open-binance-headquarters-in-france\">said<\/a> Binance plans to open a headquarters in France.
