The exchange of wrapped assets\u2014ETH for WETH, BNB for WBNB, and vice versa\u2014was not considered.<\/p>\n<p>Engagement was prioritised, filtering users step by step:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the first and largest group were those who used the DEX regularly since the protocol\u2019s founding in 2019;<\/li>\n<li>In the second category were those whose wallets had a history of transactions on ParaSwap, on-chain activity with other projects\/blockchains, and a non-zero wallet balance. The developers also excluded the path source address-ParaSwap-source address.<\/li>\n<li>In the third group, swaps with partner projects integrating ParaSwap were considered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From 1.3 million users, 26,000 were selected, representing 80% of trading volume during the snapshot (taken on October 8). After final adjustments, the sample was reduced to 20,000. Users were awarded points based on compliance with several parameters, influencing the final airdrop.<\/p>\n<p>ParaSwap noted that the distribution yielded \u201cunusual traffic,\u201d which caused problems for selected addresses in claiming tokens.
