Actions by Chinese authorities led to a drop in hashrate as a result of <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bitfury-estimates-number-of-chinese-asic-miners-that-will-not-return-to-the-network\">massive shutdown<\/a> of mining equipment in the country, and the metric also moved lower.<\/p>\n<p>The fall in early July was record-setting, when the difficulty <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bitcoin-mining-difficulty-falls-by-almost-28\">fell by almost 28%<\/a>.
